I was going through pictures today, trying to clean up my drive and get rid of some of the wasted space. I ran across these today and thought I would share some of them.
I have had a fascination with the sky, weather and space for as long as I can remember. I have probably spent half my life looking up, either through a telescope or just lying on the ground looking at the stars, clouds and sunrise/sunset.
I dream of traveling past the atmosphere to space, but still very much appreciate fragile shield that surrounds our planet.

Very impressive - especially the first one.
Speaking of weather and the forces of nature, did you feel the earthquake this week? I heard on the news that some folks in your part of the state did.
Awesome pictures!
Outstanding! The first one is my favorite too, but the clouds are...well, they are awe inspiring!
Susan, there was a little shakin' going on here! There was one early in the morning that evidently my dog knew was coming because she was up and down all night - very odd for her. A second one (after shocks) hit during the morning at work and I felt my chair wobbling. Kind of like sitting in a room while a train rumbles by. It was kind of fun! Of course, that is only because no one got hurt and it seldom happens here.
